Here's our most asked questions

What can I expect from a Colour Co Workshop?

When you step into a Colour Co Workshop, you’re in for a seriously vibey experience that's all kinds of cute and colorful. Coined as Perth’s cutest creative workshops, Colour Co offers a unique catalog of things to make and create, to take home and be proud of 💖

With paint and sips plus craft and clay, the vibes are always on point. Our workshops have delicious drinks flowing (non-alc options too!) bright pastels, bold colours and plenty of good tunes to get you in the creative zone.

At each workshop our experienced instructors will give you step-by-step guidance to help you create a beautiful piece that you’re proud to take home, even if you’ve never painted before! Colour Co workshops run for 2-3 hours and always include all materials, one on one support and drinks.

A little bit different – we make space for fun, colour and big creative ideas. Focused on our guests (that’s you!) our instructors are always there to provide you with a memorable workshop experience, be your cheerleader and your #1 support. Need a top up on your drink? Fresh water? Some advice on your artwork? A quick pep talk? We’ve got you 💖

Should I make a booking in advance?

We always recommend booking in advance as our workshops can be really popular and sell out fast!

I’m not a very experienced artist, will I be ok in the workshop?

Our workshops are designed to be a great experience for everyone regardless of skills and experience! Our talented instructors will lead you step-by-step through the process and provide plenty of one-on-one guidance as you create in our workshops.

If you need a bit of extra TLC, that’s ok! We’re your number 1 supporter and here to help you create something you really love and are proud to take home.

What should I wear to my workshop?

Although we provide aprons for you to wear, our workshops can still get a little messy! So we always advise that you wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting paint on should an accident occur.

I can no longer make my workshop, what is your cancellation policy?

All sales are final and tickets are non-refundable.
We totally understand that things can happen and plans can change. If you get in contact with us at least 24hrs prior to your workshop we can provide you with a credit to attend another w
orkshop of the same value in the future. All requests must be made via email (hello@thecolour.co) from the person who made the booking. Please note that we do not provide credits for no-shows, at least 24hrs notice must be given. Credits are only valid for 3 months from the date of your workshop.

If you are rescheduling for a second time, ie your booking is rescheduled from a previous change – we are unfortunately not able to reschedule your tickets – please transfer or sell your tickets to a person of your choosing.

If you are unable to provide 24hrs notice
, we suggest giving your ticket to a friend or family member who can enjoy the workshop in your place.

As a small business with limited seating, short notice cancellations and requests to reschedule have a big impact so we thank you for your understanding.

What happens if my workshop is canceled or rescheduled by Colour Co?

In the rare occasion that we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop you will be given the option to either transfer your tickets to the new event or receive a full refund. We always will do our best to avoid canceling or rescheduling events and will give as much notice as we can.

The workshop I'm attending is at Maison, how do I get there and where do I park?

Most of our workshops happen at Maison which is a beautiful small event space located in The Pickle District, West Perth. Maison is located at 9 Douglas Street West Perth which is off Newcastle Street. There is parking available in the bays right outside the venue (they are signed “employee” parking etc but you are welcome to park in them after 5pm weekdays and anytime on weekends). There is also parking available along Douglas Street and on Drummond Street which joins onto Douglas.

What is the accessibility like at Maison?

Maison is a small event space located in West Perth. It has parking right outside the venue, there are no assigned accessible bays but you are welcome to park in any bays that are available close to the venue.

A few notes about the venue:

  • The car park leads up to the venue via a slight incline.

  • The venue has a large roller door entry way that leads into the main space.

  • The venue floor is flat throughout and is made of polished concrete.

  • There are two toilets in the venue, neither are accessible toilets

  • Music is played in the workshop at a moderate volume.

If you have any questions about the space or would like to let us know how we can make accommodations or provide additional support for yourself or a friend during a workshop please contact us at hello@thecolour.co
